[Billet doux - a love note]
We are two happy crafters, based in the West of Scotland, who love what we do and would like to share that with you.
On the following pages are some examples of our very affordable hand crafted semi-precious gemstone and fashion jewellery. We pride ourselves on our wide range of pieces, all hand crafted by us with particular attention to detail. For our gemstone pieces, we use genuine semi precious gemstones or genuine freshwater pearls. All wires, findings etc are nickel free and hypoallergenic and, for many of our gemstone pieces, we use sterling silver findings. Earrings are suitable for pierced ears only. We generally make one-off gemstone pieces so you're not likely to see the same thing on someone else. It's not always easy to source exactly the same gemstones, so once an item on this page is gone, it's gone! Depending on the availability of stones, it may be possible to produce a replica piece - just ask and we'll do what we can to get the stones. If you're looking for a special gift or just want to treat yourself, we're sure you'll find something in our range to suit. And if you have a particular stone in mind which you don't see, please get in touch and we'll do our very best to meet your needs.
For our fashion jewellery, we lavish the same attention to detail as with our gemstone pieces and do our very best to give the customer what she or he wants. For many of our necklaces, we use magnetic clasps which make it much easier to put the necklace on or take it off. Bracelets are generally elasticated and we now carry a range of bracelets specially made for younger girls. Please note that for the bracelets made with 'sweetie' beads, the beads or NOT edible!
We also make hand-crafted cards for all occasions and will take orders for any types of card, including wedding stationery or other special occasions. Our cards can also be personalised inside or out as required.
We are now available for jewellery and card parties in your home or golf club, bowling club, PTA etc (Central Scotland only). We don't believe in hard sell so our parties are very informal with no sales pitch, silly competitions or pressure. Items are simply laid out for your guests to examine and buy if they wish. All we ask is that you provide some refreshment for them. There are no minimum or maximum numbers - just invite who you would like. And the bonus for you is that we will give 10% of sales value to you for use against your own purchases or for donation to a charity of your choice.
